Oluronke Oginni Ajayi, is a licensed and certified Clinical and Abnormal Psychologist with over twelve years clinical experience. She obtained a first degree in Psychology (Hons) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State and bagged a master degree in Clinical and Abnormal Psychology from the prestigious University of South Wales, Wales, United Kingdom. She is presently on her doctorate degree in the United States. She is a certified member of the American Psychological Association, Nigerian Psychological Association, Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologists, Employee Assistance Programme (in Nigeria and globally), International Society of Substance Use Professionals locally and internationally, among others. Her areas of specialty include management of neurodevelopmental disorders, substance use disorders, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar affective disorders, personality disorders, delusional disorders, psychotic cases, suicide prevention, grief counselling, geriatric psychological management, psychological and emotional dysfunctions among children, teenagers, young adults, middle-age and older adults, work-life balance, family conflict/dysfunctions, relationship difficulties and couple’s therapy. She has experience using the cognitive behaviour therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, couple’s therapy, family therapy, behaviour therapy, dialectic behaviour therapy, and motivational enhancement therapy.
